Potential Use of Olive Stone Residues in Particleboard Production

In this study, the effect of using olive stone residues (OSR) on some properties particleboard was investigated. For purpose, particle boards were manufactured from particles white poplar (Populus Alba L.), which partially substituted with OSR in amounts 10 %, 20 % and 30 %. addition, containing OSR, had previously been chemically modified NaOH solution, produced. Phenol formaldehyde adhesive used production boards. Chemical wood (pH, alcohol benzene solubility, amount ash), physico-mechanical (density, moisture content thickness swelling, modulus rupture, elasticity internal bond strength) emission values determined.
